The Co. is the small in house restaurant of the business hotel De Empressa on Kyd Street, serving some of the best mouth watering South East Asian delicacies. Their sushi & California rolls are inarguably the best you can get on a budget in Kolkata. I had been to the place first time about three months back, even before they had formally opened to try out the menu. Recently they invited group PanchPhoron over to try out the special menu, & I am happy to share a short review of the same.

Eat Well, Live Well with Skulpt
Let's be
honest, I'm a foodie, a true blue one. If I can, I will stuff that n-th gulab
jamun in my mouth. No force in this universe can stop me! Not even myself.
However sometimes I do wish that the food was a bit healthier than just being
oily or sugary. That way I could have more of the good things in life without
worrying about becoming fat.

Rooster Festival @ Mirage, The Stadel
Mirage, the poolside resto-bar of The Stadel is a great place to hangout with friends & family alike. The setting is marvellous, with the swimming pool in the backdrop adding to the charm. Have been here a couple of times. Recently PanchPhoron was invited over to try the dishes from the special Rooster menu.

Ramzaan Special Buffet at K19 Park Plaza
'Bangalir Baro Maas e Tero Parbon' roughly translates in to 'Bengalis celebrate thirteen festivals in twelve months'. The celebrations &accompanied by grand feasts are what we look forward to break away from the monotony of everyday life. It doesn't matter whether the festivals are religious, cultural or geographical we always find a way to overcome the boundary. One such festival has to be Eid-Al-Fitr, which in spite of being a Islamic festival, is celebrated throughout the world.
