Recently when the food bloggers of the city met for a adda session at The Palazzo, Alipore, we were presented with a paper box marked 'Kaos - Gourmet'. To say the truth , hadn't heard the name before that. But the cute packaging promised us of some sort of surprise. On opening it found a selection of hand made cookies.

Now was the time to fire up the zomato app & get acquainted with the outlet before digging into the cookies which looked too tempting. Its a home bakery founded & run by Ms. Prachi. Located on Theater Road, it might be a bit difficult to find as the fellow zomato users have pointed out, better use google map to navigate.
Coming to the contents of the box, the following items were there:

1.  Nutella Sea Salt:
Nothing can go wrong when you use nutella in anything. A dark chocolate cookie with dry exteriors which hides the gooey nutella inside, this one had intense cocoa flavor. The crushed nuts added to the taste, while the saltiness was quite a twist for a chocolate cookie.

2. Brandy Salted Caramel:
A lighter colored one, this one had ample amount of chocolate chips in it. The strong smell of brandy was equally complemented by the sweet caramel. A delight for anyone who loves caramel & chocolate.

3. Lemon White Chocolate:
A soft cookie with a hint of lemon & ginger, this one stood out from the others with both of its soft texture & sublime aroma. Another great tasting cookie.

4. Double Espresso Chocolate:
A dark one, this one had a smooth finish on the outside. However this one being a double espresso was quite bitter due to the extra coffee used. However since I like my coffee dark & strong, immediately liked it.

5. Double Chocolate Chip:
This one was bigger in size compared to the other ones. However it was really soft & kind of melted in the mouth as soon as I took a bite. The spongy cookie was filled with Chocolate sauce making it all the more heavenly.

6. Red Velvet Cookie:
Another great tasting one, its taste is that of red velvet cake, a bit brittle, the chocolaty taste remained even after finishing it.

7. Flourless Gooey Plain Brownie:
As the name suggests this one had to have some gooey chocolaty goodness. However that was not what it looked like. The dark flaky exteriors hid the gooey chocolate inside. Deceiving in looks, anyone would appreciate the generous amount of chocolate found inside it.

Overall, loved each & every cookie in the goodie box. It was an absolute pleasure. Thanks Ishita of Thinkquisitive for this brilliant gift. Will surely try their other cookies when I visit the store next time,
till then,
Happy Eating
Cheers!
